URGENT REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
FROM LOCAL HOMELESS EDUCATION LIAISONS

Many
local homeless education liaisons have reported sharp increases in the number
of homeless students identified
during the 2008-2009 school year as a result of the overall economic and housing
situation.
Therefore,
NAEHCY
has worked with State Coordinators for Homeless Education to develop a new web
survey
to help us gather new/updated information.
If you are your school district's local
homeless education liaison, NAEHCY would greatly appreciate if you would complete
a brief online survey that will provide
us with information on the effects of the economic crisis on your school district's
homeless student population.
