Every state is required by the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act to have a State Coordinator for Homeless Education; and every school district is required to have a Local Homeless Education Liaison. Your State Coordinator can give you the contact information for your school district's local liaison and answer other questions you may have about the education of children and youth experiencing homelessness.
